Help Jewish Men Connect to the Yeshiva & Community, Remotely

No Jewish Man Without Torah & Community

Every Jewish man needs to be learning Torah, but let’s face it, many places ba’alei teshuvah find themselves, especially in the diaspora, do not provide the deeper, more intensive learning that they need and are rightly seeking. Furthermore, for a variety of reasons, many are simply not in a position to live and learn Torah onsite in a yeshiva, if such an option were even available to them. Therefore, Diaspora Yeshiva Toras Yisrael is gearing up to make its learning and community available to students at a distance through an innovative new eLearning Program, connecting students learning remotely not only with the Torah but also with the Yeshiva, Rabbanim, and other students. This will be much more than a collection of videos online, it will be an extension of the Yeshiva community.

Why Its Needed

Design & Development

Front-end and back-end development is needed to provide both a quality remote learning experience as well as community functionality.

Software & Hardware

The launch of the VLP includes a variety of software and hardware expenditures required to effectively broadcast the Yeshiva’s classes for remote students.

Related Staffing

Dedicated personnel are needed to broadcast the Yeshiva’s daily classes live, to manage the content thereafter, and to engage with elearning students.

“…they will be able to be an example — a moral example — for the whole world, to keep morality, justice, love, care, that the world is looking for…”

Some Features of the Yeshiva eLearning Program

Being Connected With a Yeshiva

Imagine, every Jewish man being connected to a yeshivah or kollel, regardless of their background in Torah. That’s a goal worth pursuing.

Being Connected to a Rabbi

Everyone needs to be connected to at least one solid Rabbi, who can help them to assess where they are in their journey, and where to go.

Connecting With Other Students

We are not supposed to be living this Jewish life alone, yet many who find themselves inspired to return are not yet living among Jews.

Regular, In-Depth Learning

It’s not every place of learning that can really help a Jewish man to delve into the depths of the Torah the way it is done at the Yeshiva.

Short-Term Yeshivacations

It is not always possible for Jewish men to live and learn onsite full-time, but having the opportunity to visit and connect in person is invaluable.

Transitioning to Full-Time Learning

As the Rosh Yeshiva says, once they taste the sweetness of the Torah, they want more, and the Yeshiva is ready to welcome them.
