Yeshiva Scholarships for Baalei Teshuva

Currently Available

The Foundation is currently providing a limited number of partial scholarships to approved candidates, of up 85% of tuition, for Jewish men between the ages of 18 and 35, who want to dedicate themselves to full-time Torah learning at the baal teshuva yeshiva Diaspora Yeshiva Toras Yisrael on Mount Zion, Jerusalem for a period of not less than three months, and to begin their studies there before the 1st of Adar I 5774 (February 10th, 2024).

Scholarships are currently available for one of the following programs, as well as rountrip airfare, which will be reimbursed after the student has completed three months of full-time learning in the Yeshiva.*

Foundations in Torah

A three month introduction to authentic Torah Judaism, its primary sources, and generally being a part of the Jewish community.

Gap Year Program Summary

The Gap Year

A one-year post-high school program focusing on personal-growth, in-depth Talmud study, yirat Shamayim, and living a balanced Torah life.

Growing Deeper

A two to three year program for baalei teshuva looking to delve deeper into dedicated Torah learning than ever before.

Future Gedolim Program - Baalei teshuva learning in main beis midrash at Diaspora Yeshiva

Future Gedolim

A six year deep dive into Torah Judaism, transforming baalei teshuva into Torah scholars and community leaders.

* Where necessary, the Foundation will pay for airfare upfront with an approved guarantor, who will be responsible for the repayment of the full price of the airfare if the student fails to complete three months of full-time learning in the Yeshiva.
